From 26th March 2006 the governments new no-smoking policy comes into force. There is no smoking in any of the public areas of the house, however, there are smoking designated bedrooms available for guests who wish to smoke. For the avid angler out there why not go trout or salmon fishing? We have our own private boat, a Shetlander 498 cabin cruiser called Rip Tide, berthed locally on Loch Awe. If all that sounds too stressfull then why not take time out and relax on the patio with a glass of wine, or try your hand at using the BBQ. The Anchor Hotel 
Dunfermline, United Kingdom. Had an outstanding meal at the Anchor on Friday night. The seafood platter is better than we've had anywhere and the mussels were fabulous. You don't get fresher food than this anywhere, we reckon. Look forward to returning for our 25th wedding anniversay in October. 01/09/2004,13:56:11. Gourock, United Kingdom. Lobster salad to die for. Thankyou. 03/09/2004,12:02:04. I stayed reently in the hotel the night before catching the ferry to Islay and had a very warm welcome on my arrival. The food was terrific (steak and guiness pie). The room was clean and tidy and well presented.
