It is situated within walking distance of the main facilities in Banff but has the advantage of a secluded site with private walled gardens. St Helens is a Victorian Merchant's house. It was completed in the last quarter of the 19th century and you will notice that many of the original features can still be seen. In our dining room you will see much of the original woodwork with the pinecone finials - this wood came from America and the craftsmen who built it didn't have the use of a Black Decker!
