Cairngorm Guest House
This Week at CairnGorm Mountain w/c Friday 6th June 2008 General Overview. Thanks to everyone who assisted with the Big Spring Clean last Sunday. Over 40 bags of rubbish were collected (and that followed our own Company litter clear) mainly plastic bottles and cigarette ends but a 1970's pair of skis were also retrieved. We plan to make this an annual event with the objective of gathering fewer bags year on year. The Mountain Garden is well worth visit with lots of flowering plants including Marsh Marigold, Alpine Cinquefoil, Dwarf Cornel and Lady's Mantel. Weather Outlook Friday 6th June: Wind variable 10mph. Possible bursts of rain in the East. Extensive cloud may come in from the East and reach as far as the Cairngorms. Patches of sunshine will fade as cloud extends. Temp at 900m 8-10C...
