Alistair, Mary and Tom Fortune wish to extend a warm Highland welcome to all our guests. Glenaveron, our family home, was originally built in 1904, and then taken down stone by stone and rebuilt on its present site about 10 years later. In this peaceful haven, you can enjoy a totally relaxing holiday, exploring the surrounding lochs and glens, enjoying some of the gentle walks in the grounds and woods around. or simply watching some of the abundant wildlife-herds of deer, ospreys, birds of prey, etc. For the more active, this area boasts some of the best golf courses in Scotland, or in the winter there is curling in the ice rink next door to Glenaveron, or there is hiking amid some of the most beautiful scenery you could imagine.
