Birchbrae Lodges
Trip to Loch Tay and Kenmore. We decided to take a trip over to Loch Tay on Monday (14th) to see our friends who were staying in the Highland Lodges at Milton Morenish. It is only about 75 miles from Birchbrae and takes about one and a quarter hours. The drive over via Crianlarich was beautiful in the afternoon sunshine and the hills and countryside looked stunning. As we drove through Killin, there were people playing in the Falls of Dochart (more like a trickle) and Killin Golf Course looked busy. We headed out of Killin and on towards the Loch Tay Highland Lodges. There are now over 40 lodges and there is a new Restaurant and Bar down by the Loch side. Our friends were in a 2 bedroom lodge with a nice large verandah. Early evening, we took a trip back into Killin for a drink at the Kil...
