The Ravenstone Hotel 
Charles Joan Cartlidge. Joan and I, returned to stay at the Ravenstone Hotel, with our Son and grandson, for three days, on the 25 May 2008. We had previously stayed there, on our own, at least once or twice a year, during the 1980s and 1990s. The last 8 years, have been spent taking our grandchildren on holiday, to DisneyLand Paris. Since our last visit in 1999, the hotel has been taken over and run, by Andrew and Debra. As we stepped through the front door of the hotel, it was obvious, that the very high standards and friendliness that we had experienced in previous years were still being maintained. As in previous years, our stay was faultless. The food was excellent and well presented. The rooms, particularly room 5 (superior double bedded) and room 7 (standard Twin bedded), were tas...
