Bracken Roost is our small self-catering cottage. It is next to the hotel but with its own entrance, parking, and well-fenced garden. Guests have full access to most hotel facilities and it is usually possible to book dinner, or even breakfast, in the hotel. Bratton Fleming is a fairly small village but there is a pub, a post office, a garage with attached microshop, and three churches. The White Hart is only 500 yards away and offers a typical pub menu. The shop stocks basic staples including milk, butter, eggs, bacon and newspapers, fresh meat and vegetables. Buses between Lynton and Barnstaple pass through the village about 5 times per day each way.
