The Imperial Hotel has six handsome air-conditioned guest rooms on the second floor. All of the rooms have high ceilings, original brick walls and large operable windows overlooking the town. Each has a private bath stocked with a hair dryer, heated towel bar and luxury amenities. Beds are furnished with fine quality all-cotton linens. There are no phones or TVs in the rooms, but each has a CD player/clock radio, and there is a hotel library with a broad selection of books and magazines which guests may borrow and return at their convenience (or trade for something of their own!). The Mine House Inn has closed its doors after 50 years of operation. We want to thank all of our guests who have stayed with us over the past 14 years. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. It was an incredible time for us as innkeepers and we go away with lasting memories of so many wonderful times with our regular guests, beautiful weddings and special events. It is now time for us relax, enjoy life, do some traveling, and visit other BB;s ourselves. We will return to enjoy our home here in Amador City in 2 to 3 years.
