Events and Attractions. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. Explore Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, a natural refuge for plants and animals adapted to live at the edge of the ocean. Just 6 miles to the south, Half Moon Bay is a quiet, charming farming town. Main Street boasts a feed store, a variety of country shops, art galleries and fine restaurants. The third Saturday of every summer month a colorful flower market is held at the center of town, during winter the market moves indoors to La Piazza. For more antique and art shops, head a few miles east on Hwy 92 to Spanishtown. Enjoy watching the seals at Seal Cove Beach, just over the bluffs from the inn.
