We slept like royalty, and the orange trees around us made it almost like a fairy tale. S. and M.H., Los Angeles, CA. (Lower portion of bed widened to full size featherbed). Ideal for your vacation getaway to the country, this quaint was moved in the mid-40s from the backyard of the main house to its current position for housing visitors from the city. Its comfortable beds, strewn with country calico pillows, were once in the family's San Francisco apartment. Reconfigured by Jack as bunks, the beds---upper: twin; lower: full-size featherbed - hug the wall, providing room for a rocking chair, a desk with chair, and space to move about.
