Since then however, the Black Walnut Inn has been passed on to the next generation of the family. The Peterson Room This first floor guest room, in the main house, is across the hall from our parlor. A solid cherry Winsor-style bed covered with a handmade quilt, a decorative fireplace, and a comfortable reading chair give the room a warm friendly atmosphere. The Mulberry Room This room's name reflects the 1900 period color chosen for her walls. Many guests feel that this is our most romantic room with its cast-iron canopy bed draped with white organza, decorative fireplace with velvet mantle covers, and fresh flowers.
