The Rooms of the House (Click a thumbnail to see full picture). The Knoll, a spacious 12-room house of country Tudor design was built in 1910. We have occupied it since 1963 and has been operated as a bed and breakfast since 1982. All floors are wooden throughout the house with many Oriental rugs scattered about. A lovely open staircase leads to the second floor where the guestrooms are located. One room has twin beds and the others have double beds. From time to time, we'll post onto this page, interesting bits of news about our Inn or the community. On April 30, 2006, we brought home our new dog--Ivan--a Scottish Terrier. Though we planned to get a GoldenDoodle [and made an extensive mention of this in our newsletter], we decided at the last moment to get a smaller dog. For a BB dog, a Scotty fits the bill perfectly. Not a yapper, nor a dog that will intimidate guests, we think he'll fit in perfectly. Though McGurk and Calvin our cats, don't immediatley agree with that assessment. 11-7-06. UPDATE.
