The Lion's Paw Inn
In keeping with the historical character of the Inn, each of our four rooms is named after a beloved district of an American city. From the spool bed in Pioneer Square to the lacquered screen in China Town, the decor in each room is faithful to the flavor of these areas. Our outside deck area, surrounded by lawn, garden, and trees, overlooks the hot tub. Either is an exceptional place to enjoy a glass of wine and a look at the stars. Facilities and Rates. The Bloomer Mansion: Common Areas. The Bloomer Mansion has 3 floors. The basement consists of two recreation rooms, half bath, and our new 5 person. The first floor has the living room, kids play-den, dining room, butlers pantry, kitchen, Grandmas room with full bath, a second half-bath and deck. The second floor has five bedrooms and 2 full baths. High Speed Internet access is available throughout the house. We had several glimpses of twin baby fawns and their mother from the lavish picture windows. The binoculars were a welcome touch. The kids tried to count the spots on the cute little babies!. Click Here for Comments of Our Guests! We are told our buildings were built in the Portland area as officers' quarters then barged and trailered to this site after World War II. While remodeling, we've found newspaper in the walls of a couple of the cottages dating back to 1939. One thing is for sure: no two are alike! Each of the six buildings, housing ten units, has its own character. We did complete remodels of units 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 11 during 2001. We recently remodeled unit #7.
